Optical Bonding Services
Electronic Coating Technologies can service and support optical bonding adhesives from material selection to application of the correct material. The light-curable materials we use are low-stress, low-movement adhesives that cure in seconds upon exposure to LED or UV/Visible light. These adhesives provide the strength and clarity of epoxies but are optically clear forming high-tensile-strength bonds with low shrinkage.
UV curable adhesives for optical assembly and lens bonding include grades for VCSEL potting, lens fixturing, lens laminating, lens positioning, and fiber-optic assembly. Optical adhesives are ideal for assembly applications such as lens and optical mounting and the attachment of ceramic, glass, quartz, metal, and plastic components.
